Though LIHI only periodically hires for Upper Management positions, when we do it can be in a wide variety of fields: Shelter and Housing Operations Roles, Case Management Roles, Finance, Human Resources, Advocacy and more!
We've broken these up into four (4) main categories below:
Shelter and Property Operations - These are positions in Upper Management that deal with the operations of our enhanced shelters and properties. These could be like a Regional position where they oversee more than 15 sites, including managing staff. These are positions that need some prior knowledge and managerial experience in either Shelters (for positions that relate to Shelter Management) or low income Housing Management.
Case Management - These are positions in our Supportive Services Department that will oversee our Case Managers (either positions in our Shelter Programs or Housing Programs may be available). These positions will deal with grants/funding, managing staff, and client relations, among others.
Finance - These positions will be managing our Finance department- including, but not limited to, budgets, staff and grant billing. Though these positions are not posted often, these are vital positions to the success of our organization.
Other Upper Management Roles - These may be positions in Human Resources, Advocacy, Development, or other departments within our organization. As we hire these positions less often, these are all put into one category below.
